Breitling Replica Heritage Chronométrie Ultra Slim – Inspired By The Minerva Pythagore

I remember Minerva watches being for sale in local Breitling Replica Bentley watches shop here in The Hague. It must have been around 1999 or so that I was looking at these Minerva Pythagore watches in that shop, brand new. They were available in 34mm and 38mm and the latter one struck me as big at the time. Something you can’t imagine nowadays looking at new watches. Available as a dress watch and a pilot looking watch if I remember correctly.

Minerva Pythagore

I didn’t end-up buying one but my stepbrother did eventually, like the one above. A 34mm Pythagore with the famous caliber 48 movement. A beautiful designed case, dial, hands and movement that stood out from many other brands at that time. Especially taking the price tag into consideration. I can’t remember exactly, but these watches had a low price tag at the time. Considering the fact that they used in-house developed and manufactured movements. The Minerva company was sold at some point in those days and nothing much happened with it. There were plans to re-launch the brand but it never came that far.

Until Breitling bought the Minerva manufacture in Villeret in the Jura region of Switzerland and made sure to safeguard its name and heritage.

Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie

Using the Villeret name in their high-end timepieces, Breitling now introduces this beautiful Heritage Chronométrie Ultra Slim model to commemorate the original Minerva Pythagore watches. The Breitling Heritage Chronométrie Ultra Slim uses a manual wound calibre MB 23.01 that ticks at 21.600vph and has a 42-hour power reserve. The design of the slim Replica Breitling Chronomat Evolution watches case has been inspired by the aforementioned Pythagore models from Minerva. The red gold version that is being featured here has an ivory dial with a beautiful fine grain. The dial has applied double facetted indexes and Arabic numerals. Beautiful gold dauphine hands matches the ivory dial and applied hour markers perfectly. The elegant case features curved horns that have nice thick facets on them.

Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie

he Breitling Heritage Chronométrie Ultra Slim is – as the name suggests – very thin, only 5.8mm and has undergone a test lasting no less than 500 hours. During these 500 hours, Breitling simulates actual wearing under both normal as well as extreme conditions. This way, Breitling guarantees that the watches delivered are in perfect working order. Chronométrie does not refer to the watch being a chronometer certified watch, but stands for “measuring time” or “timekeeping”. Just to get that clear.

Breitling’s Replica Chronospace watches strap deserves a special mention, as it has been crafted in the company’s leather manufacture in Florence (Breitling Pelleteria) and comes on a gold Breitling pin buckle.

Breitling Replica Launches New 38-mm Transocean Chronograph

Inspired by the “spirit of classic air travel” and timepieces of the 1950s and ’60s, Breitling Replica Aeromarine has added a new ladies’ watch to it’s Transocean line, the Transocean 38. Named after the watch’s 38 mm-diameter case, the Transocean 38 is significantly more petite than the standard Transocean, which has a 43-mm diameter.

The Transocean 38 comes in steel (w/ steel mesh bracelet) or 18K rose gold (w/ leather strap). The dials have an 18k gold Breitling “B” and applied hour markers, and are available in three colors: deep black, glowing silver, and midnight blue. The caseback is engraved with two stylized planes, a longtime Replica Breitling  Bentley symbol. The watch also boasts an automatic chronograph movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC.

“The Transocean 38 is the best of both worlds, old and new,” said Thierry Prissert, president of Breitling Replica Chronomat Evolution USA. “It’s a sophisticated timepiece for modern men and women who appreciate the craftsmanship of years gone by, but also the technology of today. It’s a welcome addition to our exceptional Transocean collection.”

Breitling Replica Introduces the Superocean II

Over the years the Superocean has been a mainstay of Breitling’s watches, moving through a variety of different designs and variations. But this year Breitling Replica Bentley has brought out a new generation altogether: the Breitling Replica Superocean II. Let’s take a look to see what distinguishes this new watch from its forebears.

First launched in 1957, the original Breitling Superocean was water resistant to 200 meters, making it inarguably a serious divers’ watch. But that’s been far surpassed now: recent versions of the Superocean have been water resistant to as much as 1,500 meters. In the last few years, it’s also come to have an in-house movement, Breitling’s Caliber 17, based on the ETA 2824-2 with quick-set date. This movement is also to be found in the new Superocean II.

In developing the Superocean II, Breitling Replica Chronomat Evolution has made some subtle but important design updates. The font for the numbers on the rotating bezel is less stylized than on Superocean, and this bezel now has a luminous dot at 12 o’clock. The bezel has graduations for the last 15 minutes of a dive, but these markings are now large rectangular markings, not the small pips seen on models like the current Superocean 44.

The dial has also gone in for a redesign. There is now a full complement of Arabic numerals to mark the hours, all with white luminous coating. What’s more, the Superocean II has an internal circle of indexes for reading 24-hour time – something you won’t find on any other Superocean model. A red outline for the arrow-tipped seconds hand is standard on all sizes of the Superocean II.

The case of the Superocean II is slimmer than its predecessor. Whereas the Superocean 42 (the number comes from its case diameter) is 15 mm thick and the Superocean 44 is 16.7 mm thick, the Superocean II is 13.3 mm thick with a 42-mm diameter and 14.2 mm thick with a 44-mm diameter.

Additionally, the Superocean II comes in a distinctly different size that’s not available in the Superocean line. The 36-mm-wide Superocean II looks nearly identical to its larger siblings, though it’s also available in a white-on-steel version for ladies.

On all three sizes, the Breitling Replica Superocean II has a screw-locked crown, unidirectional rotating bezel that ratchets into place, and a cambered sapphire crystal. The caseback is embossed with a circular Superocean motif. The movement, Caliber 17, is chronometer certified and beats at 28,800 vph. The watches are available on a rubber “Ocean Racer” strap or steel bracelet.

On the 42- and 44-mm models, dials are available in either black or deep blue. The 36-mm model comes with a black or a white dial. The cases of the 36-mm and 42-mm versions are polished steel; the 44-mm case is satin-brushed steel. The water resistance of the models ranges: it’s 200 meters for the 36 mm, 500 meters for the 42 mm, and 1,000 meters for the 44 mm.

The 44-mm Superocean II costs $4,150 on a bracelet or $3,650 on a strap. Both of the smaller models cost $3,900 on a bracelet and $3,400 on a strap.
