One of the newest Breitling watches, known as the Super Avenger Military, is a mighty, macho limited edition of 500 pieces. It’s built for stealth, with a non-reflective finish on an imposing 48-mm case and a “volcano black” dial featuring a 24-hour military time display with white Arabic numerals.
The curved sapphire crystal above the dial has also been treated with glare-resistant coating. The military styled watch also comes on an “offroader” strap, made from a durable synthetic fabric similar to the type used by elite military units for special operations.
The Breitling Replica Super Avenger Military is well equipped for split second time telling with a 1/4-second chronograph, with flyback function showing 30 minutes and 12 hours on two sub dials located at 9 o’clock and 6 o’clock.
The chronograph push-pieces are protected by two screwed guards and the crown is also screw-locked, with a non-slip grip. The large hands, hour markers, and numerals were designed for increased legibility even in dark conditions.
The ratcheted bezel rotates in one direction, a useful feature for diving; the case is water-resistant to 300 metres (1,000 feet). As with all Breitling Replica Super Ocean watches, the Super Avenger Military contains a COSC chronometer-certified movement, Calibre 22, which features automatic winding and a frequency of 28,800 vph.
